Letra de «Stand on the Rock»
Chorus:
Stand on the rock
Movin' a mountain
With faith even small as a seed
And there on the rock
His love like a fountain
Giving me all that I ever will need
Pain - I have experienced pain Too many hurts in my life Were bringing terrible strife I have experienced pain But Jesus is my refuge And I know He's paid His dues So now I have a savior who has Walked within my shoes (he has walked within my shoes)
Repeat Chorus
Love - Have you experienced love? Too many people will hate Reaping a terrible fate They won't experience love But Jesus is my anchor He's defining what is love I'm happy that He's teaching me and taking me above
Repeat Chorus
When you step out on the sinking sand Putting your faith in mortal man Life has no direction, life will see no gain Lacking love and helpless on your own you will remain
But when you trust in Jesus Christ Who is the Author of true life He's the door to go through, all you do is knock He'll be there to guide you when You're standing on the rock
Repeat Chorus (x2)
