I used to think that I could make it Without Christ in my life; For many things that I tried to do Seemed to turn out all right. I had friends and family Who meant so much to me; I said, "Christ might be good For someone else, but for me, I just can't see!" Then, one day I was lost, And oh, so lonely, And all my friends were gone! That's when I realized That I was all alone! That's when I heard a voice speaking to me Oh, so tenderly He said, "I'll be to you everything, Everything that you'll let Me be!" And now all I can say is: Oh, I need Him!
