<p>Go ahead; uh, it was September of 2005.<br/><br/>Since the accident?<br/>Well, it’s still kind of hard to talk about it.<br/><br/>I mean we were stranded in the uh…<br/>…do you know what a geosynchronous orbit is?<br/><br/>Yeah it uh, it would have been almost impossible if we had planned it<br/>but, no one could have known, you know, that systems would fail…<br/><br/>…the guidance systems, the third engine<br/><br/>I guess they tested the computers there and they say it was the third engine [?]<br/><br/>Haha, yeah, I guess that’s one way to put it. I still think about it from time to time I guess um, but, that isn’t anything.<br/>It’s bad but, you know nothing like the loneliness out there in the dark.<br/><br/>I miss the other guys sometimes but I never miss it<br/><br/>I just spoke with Major Culp a few days ago. He actually lives in New Jersey now.<br/>I guess we all kind of feel the same way about it; that we miss the excitement of it all but what goes through the dark part of [?]<br/><br/>It sometimes feels so hollow [?]<br/><br/>I apologize, uh yeah, it was an accident, the anti-matter, i mean, like, all of it, an accident. And Lieutenant Hoerig, I mean, his family, I still talk to them every now and again.<br/><br/>I’m sorry, it’s just um, sometimes I still miss him. I can’t believe he’s gone.<br/><br/>But it was him, he saved the mission.
