No Place To Be A Child

<p>Abused in his mother&#x27;s womb<br/>By the drugs and such that she&#x27;d consumed<br/>Right from the start<br/>He had no place to be a child<br/><br/>Now his eyes tell the story of<br/>A world too cold to show it&#x27;s love<br/>Alone and afraid<br/>He has no place to be a child<br/><br/>Is there no place to be a child?<br/>Is there some place that you know<br/>Where a little one can go and be a child<br/>Growing up can take a while<br/>But many find no place to be a child<br/>Some are left to grow up in the streets<br/>Where in turn they abuse<br/>Everyone that they meet<br/>&#x27;Cause that&#x27;s what you learn<br/>When there&#x27;s no place to be a child<br/><br/>Aborted future&#x27;s piled by the score<br/>And all because life is not sacred no more<br/>No more, no more<br/>Oh, there&#x27;s no place to be a child<br/><br/>Is there no place to be a child?<br/>Is there some place that you know<br/>Where a little one can go and be a child<br/>You know that growing up can take a while<br/>But many find no place to be a child<br/><br/>Oh, doctor, lawyer, Indian chief<br/>Rich man, poor man, beggar man, thief<br/>Makes no difference, we share this sadness<br/>Let&#x27;s make a difference and stop this madness<br/><br/>No place, hey, to be a child, Lord<br/><br/>To be a child<br/>Where can we go, to be a child<br/>To be a child<br/>Where can we go, to be a child<br/>Is there no place to be a child?<br/>Is there some place that you know<br/>Where a little one can go and be a child<br/>Well, they say growing up can take a while<br/>But many find no place to be a child<br/><br/>People were bringing little children to Jesus<br/>To have Him touch them<br/>But the disciples rebuked them<br/>When Jesus saw this, He was indignant<br/>He said to them, “Little children come to me<br/>Do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God<br/>Belongs to such as these<br/>I tell you the truth<br/>Anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God<br/>Like a little child will never enter it”<br/>And He took the children in His arms<br/>Put His hands on them and blessed them<br/><br/>Is there no place to be a child
