A Note From Mr. God

<p>I was so down<br/>Just hanging around<br/>Wondering what to do<br/>When suddenly I was surprised from out of the blue</p><p>The birds sang their song as I walked along<br/>I suddenly felt quite odd<br/>&#39;Cos out of the sky fell a note from Mr God</p><p>And it said<br/>You got the blues but you can shake it<br/>If you have faith you can make it<br/>You have a chance<br/>You must take it while you can</p><p>Don&#39;t give up hope<br/>Never lose it<br/>You got a choice but you must choose it<br/>And that&#39;s what it said on this note from Mr God</p><p>Ah ba la la etc</p><p>Yeah this is a song about this man who&#39;s walking down <br/>The street and he&#39;s had a little bit too much to drink, for about twenty years. <br/>And he sees this piece of paper on the ground and he picks <br/>It up and it&#39;s just a, it&#39;s just a piece of paper somebody dropped out of their bible. <br/>It&#39;s kind of a tract you know, one of those things that somebody writes down their, <br/>Their ideas about how to explain God to somebody else they want to give <br/>This piece of paper to and this person just drops it on the ground and this guy <br/>Picks it up and he starts reading and thinks this is about me. <br/>How could anybody know about me? Except for God. <br/>And that&#39;s why he thought this was a note from God. <br/>And it wasn&#39;t. But he thought it was. But it wasn&#39;t. <br/>But he thought it was, and that&#39;s what&#39;s important.</p><p>You know what happens when you start getting involved with God. <br/>Your life starts changing and you start getting kinda happy and you know, <br/>Kinda messes up your viewpoint of life, you kinda change your perspective and, <br/>And the first thing you know you&#39;re so glad that things have changed in your life <br/>You wanna go tell all your friends about it, and that&#39;s what this guy did. <br/>He wanted to go back and tell all of his friends that he found <br/>This note from God and it said </p><p>You got the blues but you can shake it<br/>If you have faith you can make it<br/>You have a chance<br/>So you must take it while you can</p><p>Don&#39;t give up hope<br/>Never lose it<br/>You have a choice but you know, you got to choose it<br/>And that&#39;s what it said on this note from Mr God</p><p>So if you feel down<br/>With your chin on the ground<br/>And suddenly you feel odd<br/>Well just look all around look down look<br/>Down on the ground you some might see some <br/>Kind of piece of paper floating around might just be<br/>A note from Mr God</p>
