Back To My First Love · letra

I never should have left I'm sorry that I went away I was too blind to see That leaving You Would cause me so much pain But now I know There is no place that I can go But to the cross
Why do we cause ourselves So much unneeded grief (So much grief) When we know how much You've done to make us free You cared so much for us You gave unselfishly Your very life You sacrificed I am back once again With my first love My own strength was not enough To save me from my sins I am back with my first love Jesus, once again
I am so glad that I can tell The story of my life That my heart was changed From what is wrong to what is right I've got the Lord to thank He's covered me with grace Until the day I learn to seek His face
I am back once again With my first love (Oh, with my first love) My own strength was not enough (Oh-oh-oh-oh...) To save me from my sins I am back with my first love (I am back, my first love) Jesus, once (Jesus, once again) I am back once again (I never should have left Your side) With my first love (My first love) My own strength was not enough To save me from my sins (I can't save myself) I am back with my first love (I am back, my first love, Jesus Christ) Jesus, once again
