Lord Jesus Help Me (Help Somebody Else) · letra

The world is in travail full of misery Men crying peace where there is no peace People are chasing elusive highs Dying in the street The poor are still oppressed The rich are filled with greed Oh, my Lord, there is a need for your love
I must lend a helping hand And be a witness the best that I can And be an example Spreading light across the land Like a city that's on a hill For the truth must be revеaled Oh, Lord there is a need for Your lovе Lord Jesus, help me, to help somebody else (Help me, you gotta help somebody) A soul is crying out today For those who do not know the way It is my desire to be a shining light So the world might see in me the love of Christ (I want the world to see) So the world might see in me the love, the love The wonderful love the sweet love of Christ
The laws of men denouncing the truth They've even taken prayer out the classroom A world of unbelief Captive hearts yearning to be free Lord, touch the hearts of men And bring them back again Oh, Lord, there is a need for Your love
The harvest is right But the labor is few We got to spread the gospel Do all that we can do For the time is now The day is now at hand There is a need for Your love Your love, Your love Lord Jesus, help me, to help somebody else (Help me, I wanna help somebody) A soul is crying out today For those who do not know the way It is my desire to be a shining light So the world might see in me the love of Christ (So that the world may see) So the world might see in me
What the world needs now (Is Your love) Is the love of Jesus What the world needs now They need the love They need the love
What the world needs now (Whoa...) Is the love of Jesus (Oh, what the world needs now) What the world needs now A dying soul is crying out
What the world needs now (Your love) Is the love of Jesus What the world needs now (Yes) There's a man who's lost his way There's a woman who has gone astray There's a hungry child to feed Lord, what we really need, yeah
What the world needs now (Your love) Is the love of Jesus (I'm gonna, I'm gonna) What the world needs now (Help somebody, help somebody, yes)
What the world needs now Is the love of Jesus What the world needs now...
