Letra de «Timothy's Burden»
Bring me my books and my overcoat
Winter's not far down that road
These days grow short
And the truth won't let me go
Chorus: I'm taking on Timothy's burden Not ashamed to wear these chains If I suffer things uncertain I'm gonna count my loss for gain I'm taking on Timothy's burden
The grip of eternity on my heart And the voice of a true faithful friend Are pulling me back to my first love again
Repeat Chorus
I'm taking on Timothy's burden Set free to run this race And I bear God's testimony I'm a prisoner of His grace
I'm taking on Timothy's burden I've got the truth inside Though I suffer things uncertain I'll keep the faith And fight the fight I'm taking on Timothy's burden Oh yes I am I'm taking on Timothy's burden
I'll keep the faith And I'll fight the fight Here's my life
Chorus: I'm taking on Timothy's burden Not ashamed to wear these chains If I suffer things uncertain I'm gonna count my loss for gain I'm taking on Timothy's burden
