I found the Lord As a scrawny little kid Said I never would look back I never would look back I turned eighteen And I learned how not to trust And to not give any slack Not one inch of slack
I saw the world And it wasn't half as nice As I thought that it would be And the world, it sure kicked me From east to west And at all points in between I have slowly learned what’s best I finally know what's best So here I am, back where I started Here I am, back on my knees I circled 'round, got brokenhearted And here I am, back where I started again
I know the truth Why don’t I listen When truth is talking Can you hear Him talking He knows the way And He will take me If I keep walking I'll just keep walking
So here I am, back where I started Here I am, back on my knees I circled 'round, got brokenhearted And here I am, back where I started again
Here I am, back where I started Here I am, back on my knees I circled 'round, got brokenhearted And here I am, back where I started
Here I am, right back where I started Here I am, back on my knees I circled 'round, got brokenhearted And here I am, back where I started once again It's good to be back where I started (Back where I started) I circles 'round and 'round and ’round And came right back from where I started Came right back from where I started (Back where I started) (Back where I started) To me, to you, for years and years And fill our eyes with tears It came back, right back where I started (Back where I started) God’s sweet love got a hold on me Got me right back here where I started (Back where I started) It's good to be back where I started (Back where I started)
