Heaven · letra

You know that I'm a new man Yeah, and I'm waitin' on a new song I was all strung out 'cause I'd been Singin' them old ones too long It seems like it took forever To get me where I am It humbles me just to think I'd be The music in His hands
You know I got a new heart Oh, it's waitin' on a new sound I got a whole new way Of sayin' them words That I'd been throwin' around A song for a servant Is the only song I'll sing, yeah I'm just waitin' on heaven (Waitin' yes, I'm waitin') Waitin' on heaven (Waitin' yes, I'm waitin') Waitin' on heaven To pour a new song on me Pour it on, Lord
I learned how to use my music And lost it as my friend But I believe His hold on me Will bring it back again
It's gonna be a good time Oh, its gonna be a grand day When the gates swing wide And He hands me a song That I'm gonna get to play, yeah It could be a ballad Or a soarin' symphony, yeah
I'm just waitin' on heaven (Waitin' yes, I'm waitin') Waitin' on heaven (Waitin' yes, I'm waitin') Waitin' on heaven To pour a new song out on me Yeah, yeah Ooh-ooh-ooh... Waitin' on heaven Ooh-ooh-ooh... Waitin' on heaven Oh, Lord! Yes, I'm waitin' on heaven...
