The Bridge

It seemed so cloudy today And they both ended up With nothing, no nothing to say It seemed so out of place today Their eyes reached for the sky And the clouds turned their backs on them And faced the other way all today And as they stood below the bridge Where pigeons flew and people knew that they Were waiting for the monster To come over the hill When they saw that it was coming Did they think that it was real Oh, no, they didn't care Better wear your raincoats today Some people stand below the bridge and never No never escape It seemed so cloudy today And they both ended up with nothing No nothing to say
